Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hanigan was born 24 March 1974. Hannigan is an American host and actor on television. Her most well-known roles include performances in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), Willow Rosenberg (2005-2014) as well as Lily Aldrin (2005–2014), which was awarded a People's Choice Award in 2009. Michelle Flaherty (1999–2012) was also in her credits. Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller: The Fool Us has been on the air since the year 2016. Hannigan is also voiced by Claire Clancy, the animated character from Fancy Nancy (2018-2018). Hannigan is the sole daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother, who's Jewish is also Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. When she turned 11, she relocated to Hollywood with her mother. Her father, who was a casting agent, was with her in Santa Barbara. She auditioned. After her high school years, she attended California State University Northridge. Following high school, she joined Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority that awarded her an undergraduate degree in psychology. Hannigan was first seen in the film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was one of her co-stars. Later, he was her co-star on Buffy. In 1989, she was offered her first TV series part when she was cast as an actress in the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just a teenager at the time she was an infantsitter of Bob Saget, her How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was later chosen to portray Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's best-friend Buffy Summers. In 1997, Hannigan received the national media attention. She also stayed with Bob Saget's children in the show How I Met Your Mom. Angel allowed her to play Willow's character in several episodes.
