Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules! from 2009 to 2010. She was then on the show as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Revolution from 2012-2014, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson was her role in the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos starred as Detective Hailey Upton on the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos portrays the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owners George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos, both of whom were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two siblings. The family relocated to her father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta just a few years after her birth, and returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is very proud of her Greek heritage and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting in junior high school, and later studied at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting and within a couple of weeks, she had her first TV role that was a tiny part on Supernatural. She continued working in television, with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos appeared in the TV film Goblin as well as the web show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Also, she had a recurring part on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she won her first starring role in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011, she made her debut in feature films with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget horror film by Michael Greenspan. It starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos appeared as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. Spiridakos was later offered the leading role in Revolution, as Charlotte Matheson (survivor in an unimaginative future society), on NBC television. She auditioned for the part while attending her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filming the pilot was in Atlanta and the initial season in Wilmington. For her performance in the pilot she was nominated for win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She was beaten out by Anna Torv from Fringe's The Good Place. The second season was recorded in Austin, Texas.
