Mikaela was born in 1984. She is of Iranian as well as Italian heritage. Her parents were both born and raised within Colbert Washington. From the age of 2, she began to take dancing classes. Then, later on, she was involved in numerous school plays. As a child she started appearing in local advertisements. She graduated in Theatre from Loyola Marymount University (USA) in LA. Her career in the field began in 2007 when she was the star of a film called "Frank.' Then, she was an actor in the movie 'Sorority Forever'. In the following, she played Humanzee in "Humanzee" after being auditioned in front of the celebrated film director James Gunn. In the following, she appeared as a leading actress on Peter Safran's and James Gunn's X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela. Hoover was first seen in American films in the year 2010 when she starred in the movie 'How I Met Your Mother. Also, she was a part of the film Super, that was directed by the famous filmmaker James Gunn.
